Pilates targets the “powerhouse” muscles, which include the glutes, hips, pelvic floor, and lower back to promote strength, stability, and flexibility

Tai Chi & Qigong

Qigong can be thought of as a movement you do for a certain situation, as opposed to tai chi form, which is a series of movements that work on the entire body in a flowing sequence.


We offer Beginner Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. It builds muscle, boosts metabolism, and increases circulation through breath-work.


Your arms, legs, glutes, and core muscles are fatigued via small targeted movements, high numbers of repetitions, and lightweight or resistance. 

Cardio Sculpting

A combination of muscle conditioning exercises utilizing hand weights, body bars, and steps with intervals of high and low-impact cardiovascular exercises for a fun, calorie-blasting workout.


A fast-paced, high energy dance fitness class that focuses on Latin music and Latin rhythms while also incorporating popular music. Zumba introduces a variety of musical artists and dance moves to improve confidence, coordination, and burn a large number of calories.

I had been struggling to get my health routine back on track and really was not able to do that on my own. I started Health coaching with Elizabeth and she as able to help  me create realistic clear goals and held me accountable each week as we talked about my  healthy lifestyle journey. Even when I thought I was not doing a good job she helped me to see that I was hitting my goals. I have been taking small steps and with Elizabeth’s guidance I was able to get my exercise and eating plans back on track. I highly recommend her services.

There is a positive energy at Fit for Life in Jenkintown. The owner really cares about the whole body–by evaluating your level of fitness both through nutrition and exercise. The trainers, whose expertise in so many venues of fitness is astounding, is a good reason to visit this new and emerging health facility.

I attend 7:30 AM yoga on Saturdays at Fit for Life because the instructor, Allyson, guides us carefully through poses that build strength, stamina and tone. Her gentle classes, and great choices for accompanying music, are unique and very enjoyable. I find this studio has more heart and deep caring for improving the health, or simply adding joy to the lives of its clients, than any others I’ve visited.

Linda’s Tuesday night class was really fun and a good workout! I’ve only been able to attend one class so far due to my work schedule, but if I’m in the area soon I will try to come again. I would really recommend zumba with Linda – she has tons of enthusiasm and gets everyone involved!

Highly recommend this place, the owner has a fantastically pragmatic view on well being. Absolutely worth dropping by in person, or at least checking out the website for their online classes. Wide variety of options (Tai Chi, even) and exceedingly reasonable prices. Elizabeth knows what’s up, check it out!
